Future features and directions

As version 1.2 of Alwact Clock will be released (currently Beta), I am trying to find out what are the most interesting features to add in future versions, here is a list of the features I am currently thinking about:

Alarm.
Calendar.
Quick launch programs.
Clipboard monitoring and logging.
Drag&Drop files on the clock widget: Copy to a specific location/Open by a particular program.
Mini MP3 player.
Cool widget move effects.

Hello. Thank you for making Alwact Clock. I have been trying different clocks and yours has been my favorite, by far.

My requests would be:
Chimes (hourly, quarterly, etc). It would be very nice if they had the following features: chimes can be turned off, set at different intervals, user can choose the .wav they want to use, volume is adjustable independent from system volume.

Transparency on mouse over: I would like to be able to click on and see without obstruction, items underneath the clock. If the clock could be made to disappear on mouseover, that would be very useful. I guess the options could still be accessed from the taskbar.

My ideas aren't too creative, but honestly, anything more than this and I am afraid the program will become bloated. It seems to do such a great job at just showing the time and it uses very little system resources.

Things that I wouldn't use personally but might be neat:
Animation at intervals. Example: Show a cookoo bird skin coming out of a cookoo clock at every hour. Or a big bell swinging on a grandfather clock skin.

(just please don't make the program too hungry :)

Thanks!

Firstmost: thanks for a VERY neat peace of software! An idea for a (in my opinion) great enhancement would be the option to make the clock completely click-through-able. In this way I wouldn't have to bother about where to position the clock relative to the windows. I hope you can build this in in the near future, because it is a relatively little change and it would make the utility perfect.

Omg! Your Alwact Clock is so awesome! It's so fun to look at. Thank you very much for your time and effort!

Here are some suggestions if you are taking them:

Can you make an option for a skinnable digital display LCD version (easier on the eyes) and have the option to show the day and date as well? Also a next/previous skin button for easy navigation of skins. That would be really nice to have. Anyways I'm bookmarking your site. Thanks for all of the hard work!

A great little app, but it would be nice to be able to run multiple instances of the program displaying clocks set to different time zones.

Thanks!
